The Wharfedale LP160DTRHDMI is a pretty impressive piece of kit for the money – not many freeview recorders give you twin tuners and a 160Gb hard disk for less than £100 ! Because it has twin tuners you can watch one digital channel while recording another, or record two channels simultaneously whilst watching a previous recording. The Sharp Sharp TUR252H PVR features one touch recording and an 8 day TV guide. With a 250Gb HDD it gives up to 125 hours of recording. You can pause and rewind live TV and its twin digital tuners give you simultaneous 2 channel recording whilst you watch a pre-recorded program.
