Like some people I had been toying with the idea of upgrading to A Virgin V+ box to allow pre-programmed recordings direct onto a hard drive but due to a decline in my spends couldn't face committing to the additional monthly charges.
This was definately the next best thing. I am delighted with the machine, its very sleek & stylish and easy to operate.
The only negative thing which I forgot to research prior to the purchase is that its not a multiregional player, so I still have to watch region 1 dvd's on the machine in my bedroom.
It offers many options after recording and will even allow you to delete part of the recording and keep the rest which is great especially if you love X-Factor like me and like to keep the last 10 minutes of the show each week.
I would definatley recommend this product to anyone looking for a DVD Recorder!! |

Bought this as part of a AV upgrade for my mother in law,
so other than setting it up and a quick run through I have not used this on
a daily basis. But as with most LG kit, it looks good and does the job.
Easy to set up, one HDMI lead (Not Supplied)to connect to the TV,
RF lead in and out for Freeview and mains. Pretty much it.
The HDD recorder works well, recording, play back.
I bought a LG TV to go with this and you can use the TV remote to control
this HDD unit. To be honest I did not think this worked very well, easier to use the
HDD remote and the process makes a lot more sense.
Plays DVD`s well, it is an upscaler, but to be honest although the picture was good,
I could not see any big difference in picture quality because of the upscaling.
As for the DVD recording function, I cannot comment as I have yet to use this function,
but I am sure it does as the box says.
Overall nice bit of kit, good price and quick delivery.

Bought this item about 5 wks ago .
I found it very easy to insall.just follow the on line instructions.it is easy to operate and all the main functions are easily accessed.
For a DVD player/ recorder i would recommend this item. |

It's very compatible with our LG television and works in harmony.
